About the Event
Star parties are probably the quietest parties you will ever attend. Members of astronomical societies gather with their telescopes to share their love and knowledge of space with those of us just starting the journey of learning more about what the night sky holds. A chance to gaze through a powerful telescope and binoculars awaits. Join our soaking session from 5-9pm for our second Maple Grove star party!
Bruce Horrocks is back to teach us about the night sky. He will start the night with a presentation in our Forest Group Yurt at 6:30pm and then move out onto the deck to look through telescopes and binoculars. Make sure to bring warm cozy clothes!
Friday March 7th:
5pm - Arrive+soak
6:30pm - Star presentation in Forest Group Yurt
7-9pm - Star gaze with telescopes
