About the Event
Introducing a Fall Harvest Be Well Workshop - Outdoor & Open Fire Cooking with Brianne & Robert Dela Cruz of Gather & Grow in partnership with Barebones Living. This experiential workshop will introduce participants of all skill levels to the basics of successful outdoor, cast iron cooking.
If you are curious about how to prepare simple, delicious meals in dutch ovens and skillets over an open fire, you are not alone. Many of us would benefit from an intro to best practices, including cleaning, prep, safety, and care of cast iron cookware along with some tips and tricks for setting yourself, and your meal, up for success.
In this workshop, an intimate number of hot spring loving strangers will gather to sharpen our skills for outdoor cooking with a group cast iron cooking class near our Forest Yurt followed by a shared communal meal that we all make together. To…
