Be Well Mission | Maple Grove Hot Springs

Be Well, Within The Bodies We Inhabit.

The first pillar of our mission is an inward greeting with oneself. Not a mandate, not a goal, not an expectation. Rather, it's a salutation to someone who has always been there—YOU.

You in your strengths, weaknesses, wins, and losses. At your best and your worst. You on days full of health and vibrancy, and you on weeks fraught with illness and anxiety.

In other words, you in your entirety.

To see oneself, to greet the soul inside and salute your mental, emotional, social, and physical state in all of its complexity, is the aspiration of our mission and meditation.

There is so much pressure these days to "improve" oneself. Workshops, coaching, gyms, seminars, sign up for this and graduate on to that. Be better today than yesterday. And so on.

While there is wisdom, growth, and joy in stretching ourselves into new territory, there is something equally transformative awaiting us through the personal gift of personal patience.

The inward act of bearing witness to who we ARE, not just who we long to BE-COME, ultimately sets us free to

COME into BE-ING.

So, when we greet ourselves to Be Well, we offer ourselves permission to love who we are, listen to what does and does not feel well, and gently move in the direction of wellness, wherever that may lead.

Cheers to our latest group of Aquatic Yogis, who showed up as they were to laugh, relax, and try a little something new.

Plenty more where this came from!
