Our intention is your invitation.
Community agreements matter in a world that seems to dwell in disagreement. Quite often, some guest tells us “You could charge a lot more to stay here”.
When we hear this, two thoughts can arise:
1) Should we be charging a lot more to stay here??!!
And
2) We should remain firm when it comes to preserving the value of your experience, which includes your role in creating it OR compromising it.
In other words, it’s a rare public privilege to enjoy this natural miracle and you all have a role to play in maintaining it.
We aren’t interested in letting wealth dictate who partakes in our pass at wellness. We are, however, protective of what we are and who we are for.
Our intention is your invitation.
And, that invitation includes agreements. In life, and in these pools, public spaces demand that we constantly ask ourselves an important question…
Is my way of being contributing to, or detracting from, the collective experience?
Sometimes, those norms are clear. However, more often than not, we have to learn to read the room.
So, in case you are wondering how to read our room, here is our friendly reminder of some of the promises you make to your fellow soakers when you join us to take a dip | You agree to:
Bring a sober self to these sacred pools. We are alcohol and drug free
Avoid sexualized topics and physical intimacy in public spaces
Observe silence after sundown while soaking at night (10 PM - 8 AM)
Keep dogs on leashes in designated areas and rooms.
And most importantly, you agree to be consistent in your word.
When you push these boundaries, know that it’s uncomfortable for others, awkward for us, and embarrassing to you.
When we have to remind you of your agreements, it’s a signal you may not be a good fit for this community.
So, before you arrive, discuss the intention of our experience with your group and know that you are about to play an important part in someone else’s wellness journey.
Integrity is the price to partake in what we serve up.
