In a way, nearly everything in a land-based endeavor is seasonal.
The weather, the phases of growth, the projects, the needs, and, importantly, the Humans who hold space for it all.
Over the coming days, we will be taking a moment to celebrate the harvest of a few special team members who, after a labor of tremendous love, have grown into some exciting new chapters far from our shores.
Today, we honor the contributions of Jennifer Jennifer Hamilton for nearly three years of wrangling pools, weeds, guests, projects, policies, programs, events, and B-corp schemes, dreams, and achievements from start to finish!
That's right, since nearly day one, she has worn hats that evolved from guest to host, from volunteer to staff, and from staff to leader, and from leader to, simply put, family.
She leads with her heart and inspires with her grit. She says yes when others say no, and she says no when it needs to be heard the most.
She takes ideas and transforms them into projects. Her greatest gifts are found in how she brings those projects to life. The easy road is to tackle a project alone. That's not her style. She pioneers the harder path—of inspiring, training, and supporting others so that they experience the joy of seeing projects transform into permanence.
She's everywhere on this land. You'll meet her in the grasses and trees, the policies and programs, and in the values and principles of this community.
The other thing about land endeavors is this... that everyone who sweats working on it is, ultimately, part OF it. And Jennifer is no different.
Our community is bigger, brighter, and a whole lot bolder thanks to her love for this land, our team, and your experience.
