Spring into Being | The Art of Living Agai

Today, in more ways that one, is about resurrection.

Sure, it’s about the possibilities beyond this life grounded in faith for why we are here and where we may go when all is done for.

The classic Easter egg hunt for our own existential basket of goodies awaiting beyond a vail.

But more importantly, it’s about this life. Right here. Right now. Not a new life later, but perhaps a rediscovery of the life we already have. To resurrect a life, after all, we must first live.

We must first be ALIVE.

If plants and trees can feel Springs arrival and wake up to a fresh season of growth, rebirth, and renewal, then so can we.

What do you need to resurrect this year?

Not with an arc of becoming something new, but with a memory aimed to bring back to life parts of who we’ve always been.

Do you laugh as hard as you used to?

Do you see your friends as often as you long for?

Are you at home in your body?

Are you a stranger to your mind?

What beliefs no longer take root and what ideas are begging for fertile soil?

Of all the hunts that life has to offer, the sneakiest treasures are often those hidden so close we forget to even look.

Our Easter wish is that our collective Spring time hunts for happiness look a lot less like treasure maps leading to lives on the horizon.

Instead, may they look like gentle resurrections of lives already inside the gate.

Less hunting, more finding.

Less waiting, more living.
