The Rise of Trust | Our Journey Through Big Change(s)

A little change often goes a very long way. Big change, however, can last for as long or as little as we choose.

Source Pond

2 weeks ago, our source pond surprisingly drained due to a natural cavern and a lowering of the reservoir. After a few Hail Mary's and whole lot of hustling, we've got a stable pump-powered flow fueling our 3 Stone pools and Creek pool.

Slowly, but surely, the pond is on the rise. And you know what else has felt on the rise for our whole team thanks to this short term big change? Trust. In each other. In ourselves. In our knowledge. In this community. In our capacity to adapt and pivot and learn and unlearn.

Change, when it's in the air or flowing fast in the water, can knock you out, wake you up, or snap you back. It can also just hold your hand.

How we experience change, large or small, depends on our sense of TRUST. That it will all just be what it needs to be for as long as it needs to be it. That there will be things we can try. Things we can do. And things we simply just have to endure.

That when all is said and done (and it never is), the change of today will be common tomorrow. What's remains different is actually us.

Like a muscle resting after a long workout, we simply pass through change stronger on the other side. We are thankful for seasons of change, in the leaves and in learnings.

Rest easy knowing that our waters are returning back to their flowing future. Rest easy knowing that for us humans, in the wake of change, returning back is simply never an option.

Curious to join our collective mediation of watching our source pond rise and leaves change before your eyes?

Come see it while it lasts, we think it may take another few weeks. Soaks and nightly stays enjoy access to all of our Stone and Creek pools with normal temps between 98-108 F.
